It is an evergreen fund, with a minimum subscription of £10,000. Its investment targets are globally scalable companies with a proven business model and the potential for significant returns. To date, the fund has invested into 20 EIS-qualifying companies.

Fuel Ventures invests in fast-growth technology businesses. It was founded in 2014, by Mark Pearson, who previously established MyVoucherCodes, a discount-voucher-code business that he built up and then sold for £55m.

The company invests between £500,000 and £2m into target businesses, focusing on those in the platforms and SaaS (software as a service) areas. It also shares workspace with most of the companies it invests in, to be able to provide hands-on support and to help them grow.
